How to be safe on Internet
This article explains tips, which are useful to be safe on Internet.
- Remember not to provide personal information like your address, telephone number or school name to anyone unless you know the person well.
- Sometimes it so happen while using the Internet, you accidentally meet bad people or see things, which are bad. If something you read or look at is bad, just stop looking at it, and tell your parents or teachers right away.

Remember when you are in chat rooms not everyone may be who they say they are. Because in chat rooms people usually disguise them.
3. If someone harasses you online, says anything, which is inappropriate, or does anything, which makes you uncomfortable, immediately contact your Internet service provider.
4. Many Internet Service Providers (ISP) have rules about online behavior. If you disobey an ISP's rules, then your ISP may disable your account, and sometimes every account in a household temporarily or permanently.
5. Consult volunteering at your local library, school, to help new bees online. Many schools and nonprofit organizations always remain in need of people to help them set up their computers and Internet.
6. It is not necessary that a friend you meet online may be the best person to talk to if you are having problems at home, with your friends, or at school.
7. If you are planning to run away, an online friend may not be the best person to talk to. If there is adult in your community He/she may be able to give you honest, useful answers to some of your questions about what to do when you are abused, depressed, or thinking about running away.
8. Only use the Internet when your parents tell you it's OK, and only for that time they allow you to use the Internet.
9. Always show good manners and be polite when you are using the Internet and e-mail or chat. Do not abuse or hares others.
