slow boot up problems in Windows XP

• Stop Unused Services. Minimize the background
applications and services because every application

“services.msc”, here you will see a
list of all the system services. Here you can stop
all the unnecessary services and services that are
not being used such as Indexing service, Smart Cart,
Terminal Services, World Wide Web publisher and
Routing and Remote Access services and you can start
them again anytime.

of the device drivers and there are not hardware
