Introduction to Adobe Photoshop
Adobe Photoshop is a image creating,
editing and optimizing tool. In this section, you
will find a large number of tutorials such as how

how to work with layers, how to work masking and how
to use the different tools in the adobe Photoshop.

Adobe Photoshop allows you to adopt step by step approach by letting you work in layers. You should do one step in one layer so that you can edit or change that individual step easily. This article will let beginners understand many tools and techniques of adobe Photoshop.
How to Create a Button
In this tutorial you will learn how to create button and how to apply styles and special effects on button and on its text as well.
- Click on selection tool
 . This tool is called “Rectangular Selection Tool” and is used to select your desired area where you want to work.
- Draw a rectangular shape by using “Rectangular selection tool”.
- Next step is to select the color which you want to fill in the button. This icon
 shows two colors. By default it is black and white. Black color or above box represents foreground color while white color box or bottom box represents background colors. You can select your desired color by clicking on it I have chosen pink color.
- Add layer by clicking on create new layer button as shown in next picture.
- Type text on button by clicking on this icon
 from the tools. You can select font style, font size and font color from tool bar. I typed “Click Here” in purple color having 18pt size and Arial style as shown in picture. 
- Now add some special effects to button. Right click on second layer (in which you have drawn rectangular) and select blending options as shown in picture.
- Chose Bevel and Emboss option to create and emboss effect to button and it will look like this picture.
 Bevel and Emboss suits on button very much as their effect seems to be button rise from center.
- Like button you can add special effects to text typed on button by doing right click and selecting blending option as explained in step 6.
- Chose drop shadow option, select red color and select “vivid Light” from blending options. You can use check other options and implement according to your desire.
Now button is ready to place it in web page. You can make more buttons of different shapes, colors, styles and effects.
How to make Logo
Logo plays very important role in promotion and making a company’s brand famous. Many companies and business individuals spent heavy amount of money for logo but you can make your companies logo without incurring any extra charges of your own choice. This tutorial will ensure you that logo making is very simple, interesting and easy process.
- Click on “Rectangular Marquee Tool” and drag to select “Elliptical Marquee Tool” as shown in figure.
- Draw a circle as shown in figure and fill color in it by using “Paint bucket Tool”.
- Right click on the layer and select blending options. Chose “Gradient Overlay” and click on drop down arrow next to the blending option and select “Soft Light” as shown in figure.
- Create new layer by clicking on “create a new layer” as shown in figure.
- Now click on “Rectangular Tool” and drag to select “Custom Shape Tool” as shown in figure.
- Now a toolbar is visible on the top of the document, click on drop down menu next to the “Shape” and chose “Grass3” and drag your mouse to draw it on the already drawn circle and then fill it with #EEBF83 color.
- Right click on the layer in which you have added grass3 shape and chose blending options and select “Inner Shadow” and set other setting as shown in following figure.
Now your logo will be looking like the following picture.
- Again create a layer as shown in step 4.
- Select “Horizontal Type Tool” and type your company name. You can change font style “Times New Roman” or whatever you like and you can type in capital and bold letters to make it permanent and spaces between company name also looks fine. Now your logo will look like following picture.
- Now its time to add some effects in company name text. Right click on the layer and select blending options and set properties a shown in figure.
Now your logo will be like the following picture. 
11- Create new layer according to step4.
12- Select “Horizontal Type Tool” and make a line below company name by using Shift + underscore as shown in the picture.
13- Again create a layer.
14- Type your company’s slogan below above line in small font of same “Times New Roman” style in different color.
15- Again create a layer and make another line under the typed slogan by following step12 and your company’s logo is ready like the following picture.
